Born in Zanesville, Ohio, Robert Schuller grew up in Garden Grove, California. His father was a preacher and his mother was a homemaker. Robert Schuller began his career as an evangelist at the age of twenty-six with his brother-in-law. Later he became pastor of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. In addition to his church duties, Robert Schuller is president of World Changers of Churches International (WCCI), a religious organization that assists the teaching ministries of the world's largest churches.
Robert Schuller is also president of City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles.
